New language has been added to the Burnaby School District’s Code of Conduct which restricts students’ use of digital devices, including cell phones. This came into effect as per the requirement to all school districts issued by the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
Elementary students are also restricted from using digital devices during non-instructional time, such as at recess and lunch.
