New language is being added to the Burnaby School District’s Code of Conduct which restricts students’ use of digital devices, including cell phones. This comes into effect on July 1 as per the requirement to all school districts issued by the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
Elementary students are also restricted from using digital devices during non-instructional time, such as at recess and lunch.
